Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At BillCraft, your privacy is fundamentally important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and invoice generation tool.

The short version: We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal or business data on our servers. Everything happens directly within your web browser on your own device.

No Data Collection or Storage

When you use the BillCraft invoice generator, all the information you enter, including:

  • Your business details (name, address)
  • Your client details (name, address)
  • Invoice details (number, dates, line items, quantities, prices)
  • Any notes you add
  • Your business logo (if uploaded)

remains solely within your browser session on your local computer. This data is never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on BillCraft's servers or any third-party servers controlled by us.

The invoice PDF generation also occurs entirely within your browser using JavaScript libraries (jsPDF and html2canvas).

How This Works (Client-Side Processing)

BillCraft is built as a client-side application. This means the core functionality runs directly in your web browser, not on a remote server. When you input data or upload your logo:

  • The data is temporarily held in your browser's memory to display the live preview.
  • The logo image is read by your browser and converted into a format that can be displayed and included in the PDF, without being uploaded anywhere.
  • The PDF is constructed and generated using JavaScript code executed by your browser.

Once you close the browser tab or navigate away from the BillCraft website, the data you entered is typically cleared from the browser's active memory (subject to your browser's caching behavior, which we do not control). The only persistent record of your invoice is the PDF file you choose to download.

Cookies and Analytics

BillCraft does not use cookies for tracking or identifying users. We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics (like plausible.io or similar, if implemented) purely to understand website traffic volume (e.g., number of visitors) without collecting any personal data or IP addresses. We do not use analytics that create user profiles or track individual behavior across sites.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. As we do not collect user information, we cannot directly notify you of changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please understand that as a free, client-side tool focused on privacy, we do not maintain extensive contact channels or store user data for follow-up. This policy outlines our data handling practices (or lack thereof).
